Dentist after the fall

After falling almost 2 weeks ago, it was time to see the dentist as my teeth aren't hitting right & biting down isn't working. We were scared I had bent my bridge (front 4 teeth on top) & that it might need replacing, etc, but thankfully it just bruised the gums a lot & there is still a good amount of inflammation affecting my mouth/bite. Also my right side of my jaw is swollen & sore he discovered. So all in all it went much better than I expected.

The bad part...& many of you professional sick people will understand, just sitting in the dentist's chair (even with my pillow I brought under my knees) starting shooting pain from my back & pinched nerve within a few minutes of sitting down. It's so hard to explain why later in the day & days after why sitting in a nice, cushioned chair can really hurt in the long run. I have 4 cavities I have to take care of in 2 separate appointments later in the next few weeks. :(

Tabled me

Getting to the Dr. T's only to have the A/C out in the front & sit in the heat was bad. My pain being so bad I was shaking with tears was bad. Getting home, the parents getting into a fight was bad. An hour after they ate & they still weren't speaking was bad. I finally went, cooked an Amy's dinner, got another ice pack, & Chai bunny food & went upstairs at 8 PM, carrying everything I shouldn't & possibly undoing the shots that had been done a few hours before. Can't certain things be tabled at certain crucial times?

Alien diseases

Having fibromyalgia often makes me feel as if I have some sort of alien living inside my body, causing bizarre, painful, unexplainable conditions. This is what it feels like:

I haven't worn makeup in 2 years. My face, eyes, etc stays swollen from the medicines I get from the spinal injections, & fibro causes loads of skin problems which any sort of makeup makes worse & just seems ridiculous. Having eyelids swollen to the point of my eyelashes going downwards, even stabbing my eyeball, makes mascara & eyeliner laughable. I love not worrying about making time for makeup, but miss the fun of getting ready & playing with different looks. Sigh...
